However with time as love stories took over and revenge formula films took a back seat, dialogues too ceased to play a big part in the success of films and bordered more on natural conversations. But for a while as Bollywood's fascination for going retro started and 'masala' films started getting made, dialogues and one liners have made a resounding comeback.
One of the first film which saw this was Farah Khan's ode to the seventies, OM SHANTI OM, where Shah Rukh Khan's dialogue, 'Agar kisi ko shiddat se chaho to poori kayanat hamein usse milene ki koshish mein lag jaati hai..' became immortal and can be still heard in many serials and everyday use by movie buffs. Then came Salman Khan's WANTED and most of its dialogues and one liners like, 'Ek baar maine jo commitment kar liya to main khud ki bhi nahin sunta hoon' became super duper hit. After that we have had Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi's, whose one liners proved to be big draw in ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI. And things don't stop here as we have Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release DABANGG whose dialogue promos have created a great buzz amongst the people. And Salman in an interview to a leading television channel has promised that more interesting and punchy dialogues are in store as more and more promos unfold.
Well here is waiting eagerly for Eid and DABANGG to hear more punchy dialogues from Robin Hood Pandey.
